I underestimated this 1..clearly I was so very wrong.This is WAY BETTER than the first 1.And with Chase Collins inside just makes up my day.BECAUSE this is the real **** that we're talking about.It's about a rebellious girl,Andie West (Brianna Evigen) who's real passion into street dancing.All she cares is dance.She skips schools,go out late at night and hang around with her crew, the 4-1-0.The best crew ever in dominating The Streets.Thinking there no way that could save her,her aunt is sending her to Texas.But she opposes to the idea and even runs out of the house to the Dragons (common place where street dancers showing what they got to the world)There she meets Channing Tatum who advises her to either choose to live in Texas or enter Maryland School of Arts (MSA) college.He wants to battle for it.If Andie wins,they never met that night.But if he wins,she has got to enter MSA and must attend every classes.So,she agrees but unfortunately Andie way still a green horn compared to Channing.Eventually he wins.There she meets this handsome and mysterious new face dancer,Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman) saying that she should not give up.After that she starts to wonder who is he.Channing then talks to her aunt about this option he is proposing.Her aunt has nothing to say but to give it a try.
The next morning,she goes to the audition and guess wat?Chase is there.The judges were surprised by her dance skills but they think that she is just a street dancer and they do not accept any into their so-called prestigious institute of arts.Dissapointed she tells her crew that she is not goin to be part of 4-1-0 anymore.Few minutes later,she gets a call from MSA saying that she was accepted.So,she started school the next day.It is always awkward for the first day.She met this one skinny guy who is really charming,Moose.He helped her to get along with the people in school.Only then,Andie knew that Chase was the director's brother,Blake Collins.They became real friends ever since.
Things got real bad when she attended few lessons for the first time.All she knew was street dance kind-of-style.So she was asked to attend after-class lessons with the director himself.Eversince that she kept coming late for their rehearsal and sometimes she even missed the rehearsal.And for this,she got kicked out of the crew for good.Yup,just like that.
Frustrated,she went to school then next morning and told Chase what's bugging her thoughts.Then,Chase suggested that they should start their very own crew.At first,she rejected it.But after sometime,thinking that there is certainly no harm in trying out she agreed.There,they recruited dancers to be in their crew.(Somehow I forgot all their names sorry)Since then they practiced every now and then.One night,they went to the Dragons with the intention of defeating the 4-1-0.Clearly they were still new to this street dancing.And coming to that place was such a big mistake.
So,they practiced real hard from that day.However,another dilemma struck Andie as her aunt insisted that she should be sent to Texas.She has no choice but to agree to it.
I'm gettin' tired.Hehe.Lets go straight to the conclusion.They outperformed the 4-1-0 in the Streets.So they're the new dominants in the Streets.Super cool!Plus the MOST-GROOVIEST soundtracks I've heard all crammed up in 1 smokin'-hot movie....Phew!Bye 4 now.Gotta get some sleep..
